Our Founder Dr. Sugam Kumar from QUTE Electronics is currently in Germany for a landmark meeting with Stefan Stahl, Founder of Stahl Electronics, and with Post doctoral student at GSI Germany— to deepen our partnership and explore new possibilities beyond our existing portfolio.
This meeting marks a meaningful milestone for both organizations — bringing together two leaders with a shared obsession: pushing advanced electronics beyond its current boundaries and building technology that creates real-world impact.
⚡ A Glimpse Into What We're Exploring
Among the most exciting discussions in this meeting:
We are currently evaluating the feasibility of developing ultra-low-noise detection electronics capable of detecting a single singly-charged particle (q = e = 1.602 × 10⁻¹⁹ C) in flight. The conventional route is image charge detection, where a passing particle induces a transient signal on a pickup electrode. Achieving measurable SNR at the 10⁻¹⁹ C scale pushes electronics to their absolute noise limits.
The challenge? At the 10⁻¹⁹ C scale, you're operating at the absolute noise floor of electronics — where thermal noise and amplifier limitations aren't just obstacles. They're the final boss.
This is not an incremental upgrade. This is electronics at its theoretical limit.
If realized, this technology could unlock new possibilities in mass spectrometry, quantum sensing, and particle physics instrumentation.
